United Democratic Front (UDF) party President Atupele Muluzi commends the CCAP of Livingstonia Synod for uniting Malawians.
Muluzi who also the runningmate of President Peter Mutharika in the June, 2020 fresh polls made the remarks today at Mchengautuwa CCAP of the Livingstonia Synod in Mzuzu where he attended prayers.
Addressing the congregation, Muluzi said the religious grouping is playing a great role in preaching peaceful coexistence among Malawians regardless of their political and faith differences.
Muluzi is campaigning across the country asking Malawians to vote for the Mutharika in the fresh polls and he is expected to visit many districts in the northern region.
Yesterday, angry people blocked M1 road at Mponela Trading Centre in Dowa district blocking his way to the north and it took the police to clear up the road.
