It is a welcome development that Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) is determined to continue constructing Islamic schools in the country.
As Malawi Muslims, it is good to construct more Islamic schools to produce citizens that will be productive to Islam and Malawi as a country.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) urged every Muslim to seek knowledge from cradle to grave. MAM’s determination to continue constructing Islamic schools in the country must be celebrated by every Muslim.
Recently, The Chairman of MAM Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad had commissioned a 45 Million Kwacha Islamic Secondary School constructed by the association in Dedza district.
Speaking during the function, Sheikh Muhammad said MAM is geared to construct many modern Islamic schools across the country.
MAM Chairman asked people to send their children to school to become productive citizens of the country.
As Muslims, we are on track to actualise the hope of having many schools in the country.
MAM and other Muslim organisations have a very big role in educating the nation. It is commendable that these organisations already have Islamic schools that are serving the country well.
For instance, Bilaal Trust has International College of Business Management and Maryam Teachers Teachers Training college among other schools that are feeding the country with quality education to both Muslims and Christians.
