A former student of Islamic University of Uganda (IUIU) who is currently a Lecturer at Mzuzu University (Mzuni), Mr Daniel Nakapu Hussein has urged Malawian students at IUIU to prepare for life after graduation.
Speaking in an interview with Malawi Muslim Website , Mr Hussein who is in the School of Environmental Sciences and Department of Goesciences at Mzuni says the students will supposed to be patient and find entry point after leaving the institution.
He said the good thing about Islamic University in Uganda is that it prepares students well both academically and morally.
“Life in campus is good, it promotes discipline and hardworking. I don’t know if girls are still there, but in our time there were strict rules that helped us to be well disciplined,”
“In terms of life after graduation, there are opportunities, you need to identify an entry point to start from, then things shall move of course slow by slow,” he told Malawi Muslim Website.
Mr Hussein joined IUIU in 2002. He graduated with Bachelor of Education major in Geography and Educational Administration and Planning. This IUIU alumnus is currently pursuing a PhD in Geography (Hydrology) at Pwani University in Kenya.
