Minister of Civic Education and National Unity Timothy Mtambo says it is an honour to receive the holy Qur’an from Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM).
Mtambo received the holy Qur’an yesterday after meeting the MAM Officials in Blantyre.
“It pleased the Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) to gift me a Holy Qur’an today (yesterday) . I consider this a blessing and greatest honour, realising that the gift of the word of God is the gift of life,” he said.
Mtambo said a strategic and exciting roadmap has been chatted and there is tremendous hope for a unanimous front towards unifying and developing Malawi.
“I pride the relationship that the Ministry of Civic Education and National Unity has so far cultivated with key stakeholders that are instrumental to the preservation of tranquility and national unity,” Mtambo said.
The Minister said he will read the holy Qur’an to discover Islam.
