The 2015 Muslims awards will be held on 09th October 2015 at COMESA hall in Blantyre.
According to Bashir Amin, a member of Classic Events who are organizers of the ceremony, this year’s event will be much better than last year’s event.
Bashir said that his organization values all the constructive criticism and suggestions that they received last year and promises that people will enjoy this year’s upcoming event.
“We want to change the mindset of the general public who think that Muslims never contributed anything significant towards the development of Islam and the country as a whole,” explained Amin.
Classic Events is therefore asking well-wishers to contribute materially and financially in order to make the ceremony successful.
“You know we invited Zain Bhika early this year in preparation for this year’s event. But we still we couldnt raise enough money as expected therefore there is need for a lot of support from well-wishing individuals and organizations to come and join hands so that the event lives to its desired expectation,” said Amin.
Malawi Muslims Awards program is at aimed recognising, celebrating and awarding Muslim individuals and organisations whose activities are the engine of social change in Malawi.
