AMP to Hold Next General Meeting on Sunday

    Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Malawi, will on Sunday, October 24th 2010 hold its third general meeting at Limbe Islamic Information Bureau office, Blantyre. Amp chairperson confirmed on the development.

    “We are holding our next meeting this coming Sunday at Limbe Islamic Information Bureau office at around 09:00 am. Therefore, we urge all members to come and attend this important meeting and leave their other programmes,” Muheeb Banda, AMP chairperson told Malawi Muslim Official Website on Tuesday.

    At the meeting, executive committee members will discuss a lot of issues including the adoption of constitution and other things, according the chairperson.

    AMP is an Islamic Information Bureau’s idea which aimed at puting all Muslim professionals together and discuss issues which will help towards the uplifting of Islam in Malawi, according to the Limbe Islamic Information Bureau coordinator, Sheikh Ahmed Chienda.

Wallah its our responsibility to be taking part in the affairs of our country as we are part of it,and not only focusing on Islamic will find that a lot of muslims they don't even know what is constution,does it have any impact to their daily life,so by discussing such kind of important things just gives the Ummah an idea of what is it all about,gradually starts taking part and know their rights,this is a good move and in the right direction.Keep it up AMp our full support behind you.

This is a great step ahead.We wish them well.Take your time and contribute effectively at this meeting.Its along journey departed some few years back at the same office.Iam happy to see it going on this way.Have afruitful meeting.But there is no time for the meeting,is it in the evening as it used to be?.
