Asian Muslim Relief Aid (AMRA) has reaffirmed its commitment to continue helping the less privileged people in Malawi.
One of the organization’s executive committee member Makbul Latif disclosed this to Malawi Muslim website in an exclusive interview.
He said the organization has been helping people that are in need of help in many parts of the country for the past twenty years and will continue to do so.
“Our organization also assisted the people that were affected by floods in Mangochi, Phalombe and the Lower Shire. I would like to take this opportunity to ask fellow business men to contribute more to Zakaat to help brothers and sisters who need help,” he said.
The organization also assisted people that were hit by the earthquake in Karonga to a tune of MK300 million and has recently donated assorted medical items to Adventist Hospital in Blantyre.
