The principal of An-Nasihah Oceans of Knowledge , Maulana (MI) Muhammad Choonara has advised the students at the institution to work hard in their studies.
Maulana Choonara made the remarks on Saturday,10th September, 2022 during the institution’s Form 4 Graduation and Madrassah Prize Giving Ceremony at the school’s premises at Mpingu in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe.
MI Choonara challenged the students that the institution through their An-Nasihah Trust is ready to support them to achieve any academic rank they aspire.
“Our aim is to help you achieve your academic dreams. You can achieve whatever you want and we are ready to support you. You need to dream big in life,” the principal said.
MI Choonara said the students should aim to proceed their education in reputable universities in the country and abroad.
“We are supporting several students to achieve their academic dreams in the country and abroad. We have others in top universities in the country, in Uganda and Zanzibar. You need to work hard and be like them one day, Insha Allah,” he said.
Speaking at the same event, the headmaster of the school Brother Maulana Chikalipo urged Form 4 students to always be outstanding ambassadors of the school by exhibiting good morals and character.
He urged them to be role models in their families and communities by desiring to further their studies.
“You have people who are ready to support you. You need to use them productively. Pass your exams well and go to the university. An-Nasihah Trust will support you to become what you want in life,” he said.
The guest of honor at the event was the Director of An-Nasihah Oceans of Knowledge Brother Nazir Choonara who was accompanied by his Wife Mrs Zarina Choonara. The institution’s administrator Brother Zeyn Choonara and chiefs surrounding the institution also graced the auspicious occasion.
Apart from education, An-Nasihah Trust supports several people in the country by constructing descent houses for them, constructing mosques, drilling boreholes and child care among others.
