Vice President who is also UTM party President Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima claims former President Dr Bakili Muluzi is threatening him.
Chilima made the accusation today at Mzuzu Upper Stadium in Mzuzu during the Tonse Alliance mega rally.
In his address , Chilima who is also the runingmate of the Alliance in the fresh polls says Muluzi told his (Chilima) friends to warn him over his remarks he made recently that Malawi is not only for two families (Mutharika and Muluzi families).
The Malawi Vice President claims the Former President threatened him through his (Chilima) friends that he (Muluzi) is a dangerous person.
But Chilima says he cant be threatened by anyone because no one has control over his life.
“I can not be threatned by anyone . I only fear God and no one has control over my life apart from God,” Chilima said.
He urged Muluzi to be at the forefront of uniting Malawians as a former president not dividing them.
The Tonse Alliance has political parties such as Malawi Congress Party (MCP), United Transformation Movement (UTM) party, Peoples Party (PP) and Alliance for Democracy (Aford) among others.
The presidential candidate for the Allaince in the 2nd July, 2020 fresh presidential polls is MCP President Dr Lazarus Chakwera.
