Death has been announced of Abdul Aziz Onile who passed away at the dawn of Tuesday July 14, 2015 after a short illness. He was hospitalized at Chiradzulu District Hospital late last week.
Onile, who was one of the longest serving employees at Radio Islam, was working as a producer and reporter at the station. He was well known for his investigative reporting and will be particularly missed with his popular Nkhani Zobisika (Hidden Stories) radio programme. He was also known to be reporting for Nyasa Times Online.
His remains will be buried later today at Mwima in Balaka district.
