Muslims in Malawi have now something to smile about as Islamic studiesโ school begins today in Blantyre. The school, Darul-Salam Bahar Uloomil Islamiyyah Institute for Arabic Learning and General Studies (DABUI) is in Agason Building opposite Islamic Funeral Services offices in Limbe.
According to the Director, Sheikh Amin Tawakal Yusuf the school offers Arabic and other general Islamic studies and is for both men and women. Tuition fee for brothers is 9,000 while for sisters is 6,000 per term.ย Full time, night and weekend classes are available.
The Director told Malawimuslims.com that the school is currently in Blantyre only but Salima and Chikhwawa Muslims are next to benefit considering that these districts are behind in as far as higher Islamic learning institutions is concerned.
