A dark cloud has fallen into the Malawi Muslim community following the death of Brother Dallas Chiwaya who passed away during the late hours of Thursday.
Chiwaya who once worked as Deputy Executive Director for Albarakah Charity Trust (ACT) for about a year in 2012, has died while working with Ant Corruption Bureau (ACB)
Witness: Chiwaya was a hard worker
Speaking to Malawi Muslims Official Website ACT Executive Director Saidi Witness described his death as a great loss to the Muslim community.
Witness said: “Dallas Chiyawa was someone who attributed to the growing of Albarakah Charity Trust when he was in his office. He was a hard worker and always promoting peace and unity.”
Sheikh Chiwaya will be buried in his home district in Zomba but the arrangements of his burial ceremony are not yet known
