The owner and director of Mama Aamina Girls Islamic Centre, Brother Abubakr Chitimbe in Salima district is asking well-wishers to provide him with desks and mattresses at his centre in order to continue educating Muslim girls in the country.
Brother Chitimbe says after joining Islam in 2013, he immediately established the Islamic centre solely to educate girls to enable them transfer both secular and Islamic knowledge to the future generations.
“I embraced Islam in 2013. Two years down the line, I opened up this Islamic centre with an intention to educate a girl child. But currently, am struggling to get school resources such as desks and mattresses due to the rising cost of living being experienced now,” he says.
Chitimbe adds: “Hence am calling on all well-wishers to assist me in order to fulfill my goal of educating Muslim girls to raise the flagship of Islam. ”
The school has more than 100 girls whom are being sponsored by his hard earned money through farming hence the call.
