You may take it as a fallacy, but it is true. A girl child in Malawi’s Capital City Lilongwe has born with a sign of a moon and a star on her head.
The child whose name is Hawa Abdul Malik was born on November 23, 2011 at Bwaila Hospital in Lilongwe.
According to her father, Abdul-Malik Hussein who is a Muslim the sign was noticed when the child was being shaved for the first time at a certain Barbershop.
“I was really shocked to see these signs on my daughter’s head. Eventually I rushed to the sheikhs at the near masjid for interpretation where I was told that these are signs of Allah,’’ explained the Area 22 resident.
Lilongwe Islamic Information Bureau coordinator Sheikh Ali Kennedy confirmed having being approached by Abdul Malik with her daughter.
He said he also the signs that are still visible on Hawa’s head with his eyes.
In October 2009, the same incident happened when passages from the Koran were found on the skin of the baby boy in Russia, which left doctors baffled.
The parents of nine-month-old Ali Yakubov were stunned when the word Allah appeared on his chin soon after his birth, UK’s The Sun reported.
Since then scores of writings in Arabic script had emerged on his back, arms, legs and stomach.
The tot’s mother said: “Normally those signs appear twice a week – on Mondays and on the nights between Thursdays and Fridays.”
Miraculously, his family said that the old markings were vanishing before the new words arrived — twice a week.
According to The Sun, Medics failed to explain the baby’s mysterious condition, but denied that the marks were from someone writing on the child’s skin.
His mother, Madina, said she and her husband were not religious until the words started appearing on his skin.
Now the boy has become a focus of Muslim homage in his home province of Dagestan in the south of Russia.
