A friend in need is a friend indeed, so goes the adage. The saying will come alive on Wednesday 17th November 2010 when Muslim Women Organisation (MWO) will storm ย Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where among other things will distribute meat, soap and other assorted items to patients as part of the Eid al dhuha celebration.
โAs one part of Eid adhuha celebration, we are going to visit our friends at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We have arranged a parcel which contains Qurban, Soap, Sugar and Salt to share with patients [in] Ward 6A,โ organisationโs Secretary sister Shameem Chakwana told Malawi Muslim Official Website on Monday evening.
The MWO started in 1986 based on an idea to help poor families, patients and the orphans through philanthropy and compassion in the community.
