A friend in need is a friend indeed, so goes the adage. The saying will come alive on Wednesday 17th November 2010 when Muslim Women Organisation (MWO) will storm Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where among other things will distribute meat, soap and other assorted items to patients as part of the Eid al dhuha celebration.
“As one part of Eid adhuha celebration, we are going to visit our friends at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We have arranged a parcel which contains Qurban, Soap, Sugar and Salt to share with patients [in] Ward 6A,” organisation’s Secretary sister Shameem Chakwana told Malawi Muslim Official Website on Monday evening.
The MWO started in 1986 based on an idea to help poor families, patients and the orphans through philanthropy and compassion in the community.
Mashaalla this is really the way how people who are totally submitted to the will of God live. Keep it up MWO, you are really maintaining the good picture of Islam its teachings. These are one of the very important things Muslims should do, sharing Qur'ban with needy and other associations, cheering the patients. This may save also as way of Dawah to this beautiful religion. May Allah bless you. I also wish all patients at QECH and all hospitals in Malawi and around the world quick recovery so that next Eid we celebrate together in good health inshaallah.
You are right brother. These women are doing great. Sharing the little we have, is really important. May Allah help this organisation sustain and achieve its objectives inshallah.
This is great news lets leave exemplary. This is good.
