Malawians are mourning the demise of a renowned media professional, Abdulrazak Telela.
The late Telela passed on yesterday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre after a short illness.
Several Malawians are expressing late Telela’s death as a great loss to the country.
“The late Telela gave me the first experience of the tower. He taught not only me but many of us how radio signal propagates. He shall always be remembered,” said Kondwani Matope who works as Radio Technician at Yoneco FM.
The Founder and Chief Editor of Muslim Media Agency Marshall Dyton has expressed the late Telela as someone who was always there for people.
“He was a very dedicated person and always there for the community,” Dyton said.
Until his death, Late Telela was working as a journalist/head of technical at Joy Radio and Technical Director of Television Islam.
The remains of brother Abdulrazak Telela are expected to be laid to rest today at his ancenstral home in Salima district after Dhuhr prayer.
