Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) National Chairman Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad is now one of the trustees of the Munadhamat Dawah Islamiyyah (MDI) at its headquarters in Qatar, MAM Spokesperson Sheikh Dinala Chabulika has confirmed.
“Yes, the National Chairman is now one of the trustees of MDI at its headquarters in Qatar,” Sheikh Chabulika said.
Sheikh Muhammad has been appointed as the trustee of the organisation because of his outstanding and collective approach to improve the lives of Muslims in the country.
In Malawi, MDI runs and bankrolls several facilities such as academic institutions that are helping Malawians to acquire both secular and Islamic knowledge.
