The national chairman of the Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) yesterday had a meeting with Malawi students at Azhar University in Egypt.
According to Malawi Students Union at Azhar, the meeting was important for the development of Islam in the country.
“On Sunday, 25th September, 2022
Malawi Students Union At Azhar University, had a great opportunity to meet With MAM Chairman Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad in order to raise some points that can help for Islam to be easy spread all over Malawi,”
“It was indeed a great Meeting and we hope That we will have some better fruits from this meeting,” reads part of a statement issued by the students.
The students have commended MAM Chairman for his passion to develop Islam in the country.
“Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad you are a very good example of a Muslim leader who always fear Allah on the Amaanah that you have been given,”
“May Allah make it easy for you in every effort you are doing inorder to help Islam and Muslims in Malawi,” reads a statement.
Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad was in Egypt to attend the 33rd International Conference of Muslim Scholars from Saturday, 24th -Sunday, 25th September, 2022.
