The Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has donated medical equipment to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital ( QECH ).
The items were handed over today by MAM National Chairman , Sheikh Idrissah Muhammad.
In his remarks, Sheikh Muhammad said MAM is committed to continue supporting hospitals in the country including QECH.
The MAM National Chairman said the faith based organisation realises the essence of modern medical equipment hence the donation.
The donated items are mattresses , crutches , wheelchairs, walkers , chambers and theatre beds.
The United Arab Emirates based organisation called Sharja Charity financed the procurement of medical equipment.
