The Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has extended its deep condolence to Anjuman Himayatul Islam organisation and the family of Maulana Junaid Mussa on the passing of Maulana Junaid Abdul Rasheed Mussa.
In a letter addressed to the president of Anjuman Himayatul Islam signed by MAM National Chairman His Eminence Sheikh Idrissa Muhammad, the mother body for Muslims in the country has described late Maulana Junaid Mussa as someone who contributed a lot to the Muslim community.
“MAM is consternated to learn about the death of the Maulana who was a committed member of your organisation , and a close friend of MAM’s top authority,”
“MAM will remember the contribution he made to the Muslim community in Zomba in particular and to the entire Muslim community in Malawi in general,” reads part of a letter.
The late Maulana Junaid Abdul Rasheed Mussa passed on in South Africa on 21st January, 2023 where he was receiving medical treatment.
