The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “He whose property exceed his needs, let him support the one whose property does not (meet his needs), and he whose food exceeds his needs, let him share it with those who do not have food.” – Fiqh-us-Sunnah, 3:93C
Malawi’s Muslim mother body Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) with one million kwacha funding from Kuwait’s Revival of Islamic Heritage Society — African Continent Committee, on Tuesday was in Lirangwe and Mwangata Village in Zomba where they provided lunch to 600 and 400 Muslims respectively.
According to MAM Project Manager Sheikh Farook Jumah, the function was nothing than just spending time with fellow Muslims.
“Our partners from Kuwait asked us to organise Muslims and provide them with lunch.So, we had over 700 Muslims in Lirangwe and over 300 in Mwangata,” he said.
