Malawi Posts Corporation (MPC) has with immediate effect suspended its bus service to reassess safety issues.
Two of the MPC buses involved in road accident since its launch in October, 2019.
Yesterday, another MPC bus involved in road accident at Senzani but no deaths were recorded.
“We would like to inform our valued customers that we have temporarily suspended our bus service from the 20th to the 23rd of January”

“This has been done to reassess all safety and risk factors with an aim to adress them within the period,” reads a statement issued.
According to a statement, normal bus service will resume on Friday 24th January, 2020 at 7:30am in all three regions.
