Barely weeks after Blantyre based Muslims graced the launch of a Nasheed DVD titled Imfayi ndi Ulaliki in Blantyre city by the sensational Muhammad Chirimba, the launch is being taken to Lilongwe this Sunday December 30,2012 with more spices on the table.
According to the Kachiwalo nasheed star unlike in Blantyre, Muslims in the capital city will sample some of the nasheeds that are in the DVD on the projector during the launch.
“In Blantyre those who attended the function had a chance to sample the nasheeds on screen. But for Lilongwe launch it will be a projector. They will see the famous Mwasankha Chani and Kachiwalo nasheeds before getting their copy home,” says Chirimba.
The launch that is scheduled at Chipasula Secondary School Hall will feature Ishmael Katawala and Ahmad Pilo and the renowned comedian Abdurrahman Enock Chitemwe as curtain raisers.
Chirimba has expressed hope that Muslims in Lilongwe will attend the function in magnitude.
“This is the function for them because in the recent past, our beloved brothers and sisters in the central region have been bemoaning lack of these activities .Therefore this is their opportunity to see how Muslim artists perform live on stage. Its going to be massive and they won’t get disappointed, I promise,” he said.
Chirimba has meanwhile hailed Muslims in the country for their support towards his debut DVD.
