Some Muslim nurses in the country through their WhatsApp group have donated ten bags of cement to Muslims at Mnomba village , Traditional Authority Lulanga in Mangochi district to construct a new masjid.
The Chairman of the group , McDad Saidi Banda told Muslim Media Agency that Muslims in the village were looking for financial help to support the construction of new Madina masjid.
“Muslim nurses came together and supported the Muslims with ten bags of cement to help them in the construction of the mosque. This is a Swadaqat Jaariah,” he told Muslim Media Agency.
The group exists with the aim of uplifting each other in Islam and profession. The group shares different aspects of knowledge of Islam and nursing as a profession.
Despite serving lives, the nurses assist needy people financially with the money they contribute monthly.
