Zomba women Dawah group conducted a Dawah function at Ngundende village in Zomba district in an effort to promote unity in Islam.
Speaking with Muslim Media Agency, one of the in-charge of the Dawah, Sister Swafiya Chimasonga, says they organised this Dawah function in order to instill and induce understanding of unity in Islam among the women for the better understanding of their religion.
“We organised this Dawah in an effort to promote unity among us (women) in this beautiful religion of ours. We are responsible for the unity of the Ummah and the generation to come.” she said.
Meanwhile, in response to why they decided Dawah to take place at Ngundende village, Sister Swafiya responded saying it was the village of their late chairlady, Mrs Milanzi who met her fate last year. So they decided to give a homage and start over their Dawah series from there.
