Malawi Muslims have been asked to spread Islam through forming organizations.
The remarks were made today by Sheikh Fahad Kamsule who is the Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) Chairman for Mangochi district during annual general meeting of Al-Haqq Movement, an Islamic organization based in the lakeshore district.
According to Sheikh Kamsule, it is a task of every Muslim to spread Islam just as how the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his followers did.
Speaking at the same event, Sheikh Abbas Dudah,a member of the Al-Haqq Movement who is also a lecturer at Assalam Complex said spreading Islam is a task of every Muslim not Muslim clerics (Sheikhs) only.
Honorable Idie Kalosi- Member of Parliament (MP) who was the guest of honor at the event commits to work hand in hand with the organization to spread Islam.
Al-Haqq Movement sends Sheikhs in different Mosques to make sermons (khutbas) in different areas in Mangochi district.
The organization started in March, 2017 and according to its Chairman Sheikh Abdul-Malick Pilima, the movement is registering progresses. Sheikh Pilima, however,said the only challenge that the organization faces is transportation of the Sheikhs to different areas since they don’t have funders.
