Nikah and other Islamic Function Association (NIFA), is on Wednesday 17th November 2010 hold EID-Al-Adhuha prayers at Chichiri Upper Stadium in Blantyre at exactly 07:00, publicity secretary brother Issah Kazembe confirmed on Monday.
โWe are holding this yearโs Eid payers at Chichiri Upper Stadium on Wednesday. Therefore, we are inviting all Muslims around Blantyre to come and join us as this is one part of showing unity which exists among Malawian Muslim community,โ he told Malawi Muslim Official Website.
Since its formation back in 2004 by a few Muslim Brothers and sisters, NIFA has conducted a lot of Islamic activities in Malawi with its main objective to promote, enhance and sustain the Muslim faithful, love and brotherhood amongst all Muslims and to unite the poor and the rich Muslim families. According to brother Kazembe,
The organization is also based on promoting and enriching Islamic marriages in line with Islamic law, to maintain and promote Islamic culture, to civic educate people on Islamic culture and to fight against HIV/AIDS and other health problems.
