This year’s national Ijitima will be held in Salima from Friday September 27 to September 29 with Muslims across the country anticipating to see how deliberations will transpire considering the fact numerous changes have been done interms of organizing the annual event.
Unlike the last couple of events, this year, Ulama Council of Malawi which is an organisation of sheikhs in Malawi has taken over in arranging it taking over from the National Islamic Ijtima which was disbanded last year.
