One of the leading local electronic suppliers by the name of Timeline Electronics has launched a loyalty cash back mobile application.
According to company’s Managing Director Muhammad Aboo, the mobile app allows customers to receive cash back in form of ekwacha which they can reuse in store in future.
Cashback is a rewarding system where money is paid back to customers after making a purchase from a retailer. The amount paid back is usually a percent spent on an item. The customers can then use the money to buy anything in the retailer’s store.
In an exclusive interview with this website, Aboo said the app also acts as a portal of Timeline Electronics where customers will have a chance to browse product catalogue and/or place orders.
“We will also have our staff available on platform where customers may also tip them on service. And we would have special offers only for app numbers,” he said.
When asked why he thought of coming up with the idea, Aboo said their task as entrepreneurs is to come with innovative ways to catch attention of audience.
“We also like to give back to our customers as well as increase our customers base and interact with them. This is the way of doing this in this modern age,” added Aboo.
The Timeline Electronic app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
“A direct download is available from the website itself. Links can also be sent to friends and family,” he said.
