Msungama made the remarks when he visited a site where a new facility that will house Mbandira Community Technical College will be constructed in Nkhotakota district.

“What a joy, to see some delighted faces of community members and young people whose lives are undoubtedly, going to transform when this project is completed. It is evident that one of the reasons young people fail to enrol in technical and vocational skills training institutions is due to limited spaces,”

“The Tonse Alliance government led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, is committed to ensuring that Malawi has vibrant skills training institutions that can offer better skills to our youth,” he says.

According to Msungama, the initiatives are aimed at the realization of the creation of 1 million jobs by the Tonse Alliance government.

“From the new site I went to see the old Mbandira Technical College facility where I met young people enrolled in different technical training desciplines. The emphusiasm in these young people was adorable,”

“I and my team in the ministry, are therefore rejuvenated to do even more, in a bid to ensure that the Tonse Alliance promise of improving the lives of young people in Malawi is realised,” he says.

According to Msungama, the energy, emphusiasm and hard working spirit in most young people in Malawi should be guarded jerously and supported.
