Veteran broadcaster and Zodiak Broadcasting Station’s long serving member Maria Chidzanja Nkhoma has died at the age of 68.
According to the communication posted on Zodiak page which Malawi Muslim Official Website has seen, Maria died at the Covid-19 Isolation Center at Kamuzu Central Hospital where she was being treated.
“It is with a heavy heart that we wish to communicate the death of Maria Chidzanja Nkhoma. Details of the burial ceremony will be communicated as and when they are ready and with full instructions of health authorities,” reads the statement.
Until the time of her demise early morning today, Maria, popularly known as ‘Anankho’ in the media circles, was the head of the Section on Women and Children at Zodiak Broadcasting Station.
