Whilst the Companions (رضي الله عنهم) were collecting the Quran from pieces of vellum, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Glad tidings for Syria!” They asked: “Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied: “Because the Angels of the Most Merciful spread their wings over it.” (Tirmidhi)
The Prophet (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said: “On the night of Isra,’ I saw a white pillar which appeared to be made of pearls being carried by the Angels.
