Citizens for Transformation Movement (CFT) Commander-in-Chief (CIC) Timothy Mtambo has urged people in Lilongwe and Mchinji districts to vote for “Tonse Alliance” led by Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and UTM party President Dr Saulos Chilima as its running-mate in the 2nd July, 2020 Fresh Presidential Polls.

Yesterday, Mtambo had whistle stop tours in the two districts telling people that the alliance is the only hope for the country.

“As CTF, we are doing whistle stop tours to tell people to vote for Chakwera and Chilima in the next elections because they are the only people that can really change Malawi. Malawians have suffered a lot with the current government and this government has never done anything good to us as Citizens of Malawi and therefore it should be voted out of power on 2nd July”, said Mtambo.

Mtambo also noted that DPP is beyond redemption and Malawians have suffered for so long and it’s time for them to stop suffering.

“We are very sure that DPP has failed to govern this country in the interest of every citizens, we believe Malawi cannot move forward without eradicating corruption and arrogant. DPP is characterized with corruption, nepotism, tribalism. Malawians have suffered for so long with this evil and corrupt regime and now is the time for Malawians to have a good Government that will develop this country to the fullest so as CTF we are on awareness campaign to tell people to vote for Chakwera and we are going to campaign very hard Chakwera and Chilima,” he said.

Commander in Chief of CFT also noted that Malawi cannot move without servant leadership people must prosper together.

“Malawi cannot move without respect for people’s rights, we believe Malawi cannot move forward without eradicating corruption and DPP is the father of corruption. So Chakwera and Chilima presidency has the capacity to rule Malawi. In Chakwera and Chilima we see leadership and they are clean, they have never done anything dirty like the people in the current government including President Muntharika so people have no choice but to vote for Chakwera and Chilima in the next elections because we want change, we a good governance and that can only happen if Chakwera and Chilima are voted into power,” said Mtambo.
