“I would like to inform all Malawians that the moon has been sighted today. Therefore, the Eid Al-Fitr celebration will begin tomorrow.
According to the Muslim lunar calendar, Eid Al-Fitr begins the morning after the sighting of the new moon ending Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar.
