Malawi and South Africa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Economic Cooperation to help boost economic activities for social economic growth of the two countries.
Malawi President, Dr Lazarus Chakwera has revealed the development when he was in South Africa for a two day visit.
According to Dr Chakwera, the MoU will see the two countries sharing skills that will help booming their economic activities.
“I am grateful to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa for hosting me here in Pretoria, where we have just concluded bilateral talks culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Economic Cooperation between our two nations. #ProsperingTogether,” Chakwera wrote on his official Facebook page.
This was the first time for Chakwera to visit South Africa since winning the June, 2020 court ordered fresh presidential election.
The Malawi President left the country yesterday for South Africa through Kamuzu International Airport and arrives back today through the same airport.
