The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi Chapter mourns journalist MarcFarlene Mbewe who passed on yesterday, 23rd February, 2023 in Blantyre.
In a statement issued , MISA Malawi says it is deeply saddened and shocked with the sudden death of the journalist.
MISA Malawi says late Mbewe will be remembered as a dedicated and ambitious journalist who upgraded academically and perfected his skills over time.
MarcFarlene Mbewe’s remains will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at HHI cemetery in Blantyre.
Until his death, Mbewe was working with Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Programme..
Among others, Mbewe worked for Capital Radio, Times Group, The Story Workshop and Seventh Day Adventist Radio.
Mbewe collapsed during a meeting at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KuHes) campus and he was later pronounced dead.
