This is the last episode of “Ramadan 2014—Sifting through the behavioral baggage” series. I hope and pray that the topics that have been discussed are and will be of great help during and after Ramadan. However, before we wrap this series up, I would like to leave you with two suggestions that should be achieved before this month of Ramadan ends.
1) Learn how to forgive and forget. Don`t hold the grudge against people who have wronged in the past. It is for your own sake. If you keep those bad feelings inside, this might/will doubtlessly hurt you in the future not only psychologically but physically, too.
2) During Ramadan, you should be keener on being connected with your family and relatives, especially those whom the vicissitude of life prevents continual communication with. Spend some money on getting reconnected with them. You may assign, let us say, little amount of money for this purpose. Imagine, this tiny sum of money could bring you together with all your relatives! It will also bring you nearer to Allah the Almighty.
Finally, make this month more spiritual by learning more about its benefit so that the lessons learnt during this time should last throughout the year.
May Allah make you and I from among those who benefit from this blessed Ramadan, amen.
