The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has donated laptops and Mifis to Malawi Government.
According to a statement by Malawi Government, the items are expected to ease internet connections in the Government.
“United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has donated 186 laptops and Mifis to ease internet connection in Government offices in the country,” reads a statement.
The donation was received on behalf of Malawi Government by Minister of Information, Gospel Kazako.
While receiving the donation, Gospel Kazako said the items will go along way to help government agenda to increase internet accessibility in government offices.
Kazako further urged development partners to consider allocating more funds for improvement of ICT Infrastructure and economic development programmes in the country.
